1. Conference: “The War in Yemen and Syria and its Implications in the Balkans”, Free Media Institute, Tirana, Albania, 25 July 2015
 
In the beginning of the Arab Spring many Balkan countries sided with the "revolutionaries", which later became terrorists. While all the Balkan countries have condemned ISIS and other terrorist groups that operate in Syria, many of these countries are keeping silent and / or supporting the Saudi aggression in Yemen. Deadline for proposals: 10 July 2015. 2. Conference: "Ten Years After: The Muhammed Cartoons: Perspectives, Reflections, and Challenges", Aalborg University, Denmark, 28-29 September 2015.
 
New research suggest that increased racial discrimination and enforcement of racial-cultural logics of belonging facilitates mobilization of minority youth groups to crime, violence, political activism, carelessness and terrorism. This joint conference of CASAW, Manchester and Mostaganem aims to provide a platform for open dialogue to debate issues relating to gender promotion and women empowerment in the Middle East and North Africa, and to challenge predominant public understandings of empowerment.
