I very much enjoyed your letter. I don’t know how the world would look like without correspondence. I came to know many people through letters. we have an Arabic saying that “ correspondence is half seeing ”.

I have sent you the covering letter of my project about the encyclopedia of specialists in Arabic and Islamic studies. I am still awaiting for your curriculum Vitae. I forgot to ask whether you have ever been approached by any body to translate your thesis on Ben Badis. as I really have great interest in do so because it is very fine academic work.

I need some more information about the Military University where you were teaching, because I am interested in all academic institutions that have concern in Islam and the Muslim World.

Since you are in Canada I would like to avail of any opportunity from the Canadian Government to tour the Canadian centers of Arabic and Islamic Studies or Middle Eastern Studies. Have you got any information on this?

I am attaching herewith a copy of my C.V.and summary of my publications for your information and any suggestions.

Sicerely Yours
