2) During your long and fruitful scholarly life have any changes affected your methodology in regard to the Islamic civilization? and if so, what are the factors that caused these changes?

3) who are the Islamologist or specialists in Islamic History who have affected your methodology and in what way

4) You criticized some "Orientalists" or area Specialists of being polemical and try to deceive their readers

by the heavy footnotes. Sometimes Professor Lewis you do not document your findings while in other cases one finds your documentation highly enlightening
